Mechanical Dept FDP Concludes on 4th July

A five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Synthesis and Characterization of Ultrafine Grained Materials and Composites” was successfully conducted at the Mechanical Engineering Department of SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram. The event was organized in collaboration with JNTUK. The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. B.H.V.S. Ramakrishnamraju, Principal-in-Charge, and Dr. K. Suresh Babu, FDP Coordinator. Esteemed guests including Dr. Kalapala Prasad, Dr. Kollu Ravindra, and Dr. Venu Reddy contributed to the session. The FDP provided valuable insights on interdisciplinary technologies, and several faculty members actively participated to enhance their research and teaching methodologies.

A five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was inaugurated at SRKR Engineering College, jointly organized by the Mechanical Engineering Departments of SRKR and JNTUK. The FDP, titled ‘Synthesis and Characterisation of Ultrafine Grained Materials and Composites’, aims to broaden the technical knowledge of faculty across disciplines. Dr K Suresh Babu, Head of Mechanical Engineering, presided over the event. Eminent academician Dr GVS Sastry from JNTU-Kakinada stressed the importance of interdisciplinary learning for faculty members. Over 70 faculty members registered for the event. Key dignitaries present included Director Dr M Jagapathi Raju and Principal Dr KV Muralikrishnam Raju.

NABL Accreditation Workshop at S.R.K. Engineering College, Bhimavaram

A workshop on the significance of NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditation was conducted as part of the Gunwatta Yatra Awareness Program at the Civil Department of S.R.K. Engineering College. R. Srikanth, NABL Bengaluru Regional Head and QCIR Director, emphasized that skill recognition in laboratories is achievable only through NABL accreditation. The event highlighted how NABL testing boosts reliability in results and contributes to technological advancement. Key attendees included College Director M Jagapathiraju, Principal KV Muralikrishnamraju, Civil HOD G Sri Bala, and R&D Dean T Vamsi Nagaraju.

Yoga Awareness Programme Conducted at Peda Amiram School by SRKR Engineering College

SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram, organized a yoga awareness programme on June 20, 2025, at the Model Primary Mandal Parishad Primary School in Peda Amiram, as part of the YogaAndhra initiative. This event was held under the guidance of the Upper Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and the People's Association of Inner Engineering (PAIE). The programme aimed to instill discipline and positive thinking among students through the practice of yoga. College Director Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju emphasized the mental and physical benefits of regular yoga practice. The event witnessed active participation from Principal D. Prasanna Bharathi, SRKU BA Coordinator Dr. Mehar Ganesh, UBA Coordinator Dr. T. Rambabu, Yoga Trainer P. Ramesh Raju, Dr. R. Subbarao, Dr. Raghuram, Dr. Jeevan Kumar, and other dignitaries.

Five-Day Faculty Development Programme on IC Design Using CAD Tools Concluded Successfully at SRKR Engineering College

A five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Difficult and Semi-Difficult IC Design Using CAD Tools” was successfully conducted at SRKR Engineering College in collaboration with JNTUK Kakinada (Spoke Academy) under the guidance of NIT Warangal's Electronics and ICT Academy. The event was supported by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Faculty members from across the country participated in this intensive training, gaining hands-on experience with advanced CAD tools. Programme Coordinator N. Udaykumar highlighted the role of software experts in introducing emerging technologies. Srihari Rao emphasized the importance of such training in enhancing professional skills. The program also saw active participation from JNTUK Program Coordinator N. Balaji, B. Leela Kumari, and College In-charge Principal Dr. B.H. Ramakrishnamaraju.
