Welcome to the Department of CSE — IoT, Cybersecurity & Blockchain

Launched in 2022, the Department of CSE (IoT, Cyber Security & Blockchain Technology) — CIC — is one of SRKR's most forward-looking programs. We prepare engineers for a world where billions of connected devices, smart cities, decentralized finance and AI-driven attack surfaces are converging at extraordinary speed. Our four-year B.Tech program is built around a strong Computer Science core extended by deep tracks in IoT systems, applied cybersecurity and blockchain technology.

A Future-Ready Curriculum

Students master the fundamentals — programming, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, databases and computer networks — and then specialise through hands-on courses in Cryptography & Network Security, Internet of Things, Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Blockchain Technologies and Smart Contracts. Labs are equipped for embedded prototyping, packet capture, penetration testing, and end-to-end blockchain DApp development on Ethereum, Hyperledger and Solana-style stacks.

Built for the Next Decade of Tech Careers

CIC graduates are positioned for high-demand roles as IoT developers, security analysts, ethical hackers, blockchain engineers and smart-contract auditors. With access to SRKR's Technology Centre, AICTE IDEA Lab, CTF teams and start-up mentorship, our students don't just learn the future — they build it. I invite you to explore the department and join us in shaping the next generation of secure, intelligent and decentralized systems.

Vision

  • To be a centre of excellence in Internet of Things, Cyber Security and Blockchain Technology — producing engineers who design secure, intelligent and decentralized systems for a connected world.
  • To foster a culture of innovation, ethical practice and entrepreneurship aligned with the rapidly evolving digital economy.

Mission

  • To deliver a rigorous, industry-aligned curriculum that blends core Computer Science with hands-on expertise in IoT, cybersecurity and blockchain.
  • To build a strong research and project culture through hackathons, CTF competitions, bug bounty programs and start-up mentorship.
