About the Department

Established in 1991, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has grown from an initial intake of 40 students into a premier academic and research hub with a current B.Tech (CSE) intake of 300. Recognized as a Research Centre by JNTU Kakinada since 2019, the department also offers an M.Tech program in Computer Science and Technology. Supported by experienced faculty, specialized laboratories, E-classrooms, and ICT-enabled infrastructure, the department provides a dynamic and student-centric learning environment.

The curriculum is aligned with global technological trends and AICTE guidelines, offering specializations in AI/ML and IoT, along with Honors and Minor programs. Strong industry collaborations with organizations such as TCS iON, Netenrich, and Bennett University enhance practical exposure and employability. The department consistently achieves excellent placement records with top salary packages. Professional bodies like ISTE and the Association of Computer Engineers (ACE) further promote technical, co-curricular, and leadership excellence among students.
