Though established in 2021, the Department of Computer Science & Design has already produced hackathon winners, on-campus startups, AR/VR demos, and award-winning student portfolios. Our students compete at national hackathons, game jams, and design showcases, while building a strong pipeline of creative-technology graduates.

The Department of Computer Science & Design has rapidly built momentum since its launch in 2021 — onboarding its first batches, winning hackathons, incubating startups, and expanding its studio infrastructure.
Department launched with first B.Tech CSD batch of 60 students under the SRKR Technology Centre.
UI/UX, Animation, and Game Development labs commissioned; first hackathon participation.
AR/VR Lab established; CSD students win Prajwalan Hackathon & NIT-AP Startup Expo.
First placements cycle; expansion of design studio and on-campus startup incubation.
